There will be a community wide Garage / Yard Sale from May 30 - June 1. This includes the communities of Aurora, Fields of Summerside, Lake Summerside, Orchards at Ellerslie, Sunset Valley and Walker Lakes.

Healthy Food Festival

Where: Magic Space Cafe Bistro (#102 9058 22 Ave. SW)
This is a joint event hosted by Horizon and Ellerslie Community Leagues. Free admission.

Temporary Dog Park Extended to October 31, 2025
The agreement for the temporary dog park was extended by the City of Edmonton allowing the Horizon Community League to keep the fencing up to October 31, 2025.
Community volunteers and Dog Ambassadors will keep the gate accessible through winter. Park users need to keep the park clean for the enjoyment of all.
